This charming water feature and beautiful gardens were the result of a total landscape renovation.  The clients had just finished a major home renovation and wanted to have a landscape that complemented the home, and gave them formal and informal outdoor living spaces. The focal point of the backyard landscaping was a water feature that began at the upper formal terrace and meandered down to a lower pond.  Abundant perennials and flowering shrubs frame the pond and the small lower sitting area.  The sound of the flowing water masks the noise from the surrounding neighborhood, and creates an inviting environment to enjoy the outdoors.

In the front a terraced walkway with small retaining walls leads to the home's new entry.  The walkway's enlarged mid-level sitting area creates an outdoor foyer for a welcoming approach to the home.
