Here are some more photos of the Littleton project! Grand views and a grand house inspired us for this massive landscape/hardscape design. Now our installation gets to be the foundation of many memories to come! Once the plants grow and patio furniture is laid out this outdoor living space will have a complete and cozy feel, despite its enormity.

This big Littleton project is DONE! Here are some photos of the wet bar, swimming pool and patio. As you may recall, there is much more! Keep your eye out for more pictures of the completed project that will be posted later this week!
Work has been underway at Eaglebrook School! Our crew is installing custom cut granite steps from Vermont Stone Art LLC which are being set in mortar from SPEC MIX, Inc. Trees from Select Horticulture in Lancaster, Massachusetts and Amherst Nurseries are being put in using planting soil mix from Agresource Inc.
Here are some things you can do in the late summer to ensure a healthy and lively lawn and garden for the rest of this year and next!
Watering
On the hotter days of summer water evaporates fast, and your plants will appreciate a good watering early in the morning to get them through the scalding days.
Weeding
The sooner you weed the better. It will be less work for you in the long run if you pull out weeds as soon as they grow. By waiting until there’s enough to be an eyesore you’re...
The University of Vermont Alumni House was built in 1892 and is 18,000 square feet. Recently a 2,600 square foot addition was put on and we were hired to do the landscaping. Around the addition we installed bluestone mortared patios and stair treads as well as granite steps. We also did a brick paver patio and walkway with alumni names etched into the bricks. Around both the new addition and the original building we installed tree, shrub and perennial plantings. Despite...
Work at Champlain College is almost complete! We put in English Edge Heavy clay pavers from Pine Hall where giant concrete slabs used to be and installed some plantings. The colors of the pavers are Buff and Rose which compliment the surrounding plants and buildings. With the new CCM building looking great it was time to update some other areas of campus.
After finishing construction of their house, these clients came to us for an outdoor living space that would complete their new home. With random pattern bluestone patios and fieldstone steps we were able to connect multiple access points along the back side of the house. Lights are integrated into the stone walls for a cozier feel when enjoying the space in the evenings. All of this was done while being cognizant of the 100ft lake setback.
We’re mobilizing some of our Caterpillar equipment on our Freightliner to a large project at Eaglebrook School in Deerfield, Massachusetts. The project consists of custom cut granite pavers and large scale plantings.
Before any great landscape can be created it must first be drawn! Landshapes has great designers who not only know what will look good, but what will grow well and fit the needs of the space and clients. Of course lines on paper are never as impressive as the finished product, but the time and thought our designers put into each project deserves recognition. Site plans help the client better envision their new space and get them excited for what is to come.
Things are moving right along with this big Littleton project! The massive waterfall is running and the sunken bar is taking its shape! We cannot wait until all the finishing touches are done and everything comes together! Every week the landscape gets more and more impressive which is very rewarding for the crew who has been working hard!
