With all the snow that we received over the past week, this Vermont landscaping company has officially made the transition to the snowplowing season! Our crews have been busy removing snow from locations all over the Champlain Valley. This work is completed at night, so we do not interfere with the local businesses and municipalities whose lots we maintain. The snow is trucked off site to our snow dump area.
Some of our Vermont landscaping crew spent part of last week hydroseeding at Shelburne Museum. You can see the Ticonderoga Steamship, on the museum grounds in the background.
Our Vermont landscaping company has completed this Vermont brick walkway in Colchester. The guys did a nice job and it looks really great! We will be completing the rest of the Japanese inspired landscaping in the spring.
Last night was the first time that this Vermont landscaping company melted snow for UVM. Instead of trucking the snow away from campus to a snow dump, the college purchased a Snow Dragon. This machine melts the snow, which is then poured into a parking lot catch basin. Our crew was excited about this trial run and even our General Manager stopped by to check it out!
This Vermont Landscape company is still working hard despite the cold/snowy weather. Our crew has been installing a Vermont Brick walkway at a residence in Colchester. We have other crews installing a bluestone patio and doing woods work on Shelburne Farms.
Last week two members of our crew made the drive to Windsor, VT to install the winter planters at Harpoon Brewery. They used baby Blue Spruce, mixed evergreen boughs and curly willow.
Several members of our VT landscaping crew spent today in the Landshapes Nursery. The guys planted a wide variety of trees today, such as Ash, Single Stem Amelanchier , Elm and River Birch. Our nursery stock was dwindling after this past Spring and Summer. We were able to use some of the trees we grew right here at the shop on several installations including up at Jay Peak.
On Friday this Vermont landscape company took their design and installation abilities inside, to decorate the lobby of the Hilton Hotel in downtown Burlington for the holidays. The theme was country elegant and our small crew of three pulled it off splendidly. Small Serbian Spruce trees and curly willow were used to display red & white glass ornaments, popcorn & cranberries and ribbon. Multicolored poinsettias also help to spread holiday cheer.
Yesterday, our Vermont landscaping company installed the Winter planter displays at both the main entrance to the Sheraton Hotel lobby and at the entrance to the conference center.
One of the designers and several crew members of our Vermont landscaping company spent yesterday at the Hilton in downtown Burlington. They braved the cold weather to install the Winter planter displays for the hotel.
