Failing Hillside Update!

Friday, June 10, 2016

This hillside was a waste of space and impossible to maintain. We cut it back and added some support in order to make it safer and more functional for the cleints. The difference is already amazing, but it will be even greater once the plantings are in!

Englesby House

Tuesday, June 7, 2016

The UVM Englesby house in Burlington is a location we have done work at over the past few years. Recently it needed a bit of a face lift to really bring it back to life and let our previous work shine. It isn’t common to find such a large and beautiful formal garden in the middle of the city which adds to the location's overall charm. The use of brick in the front walkway and backyard patio ties in nicely with the home. With the addition of some plantings the location is as vibrant and lively as ever.

Nestled on a Hilltop in St. Johnsbury

Thursday, April 7, 2016

Our crews are currently constructing a massive waterfall, patio and planting beds at this St. Johnsbury home. The waterfall cascades down into a small retention pond not far from the natural cleft bluestone patio. Planting beds surround both the patio and house which will allow for a pop of color against the grays of the stone.

Williston Vermont Landscape Design and Planting

Check out the transformation of this newly constructed home in Williston, Vermont. Its amazing how a good Landscape Design can complement a home. Our Vermont Landscape Designers went wild with color for this project. The Landscape Plantings incorporate color and interest throughout the spring, summer, and fall using a large variety of shrubs, loads of perennials, and some Vermont native plants! Larger trees help to anchor this house and define the space while the softer textures of the perennials help the transition into the surrounding landscape.
