We're almost a month into Fall and this hilltop home in New Hampshire is looking even more fabulous with foliage! In these photos you can see how a landscape changes not only with the season but also with time of day; here at Landshapes we're always considering how our work will look year round in sun or shade.
Here are some more photos of the Littleton project! Grand views and a grand house inspired us for this massive landscape/hardscape design. Now our installation gets to be the foundation of many memories to come! Once the plants grow and patio furniture is laid out this outdoor living space will have a complete and cozy feel, despite its enormity.
We’re making progress on the big Littleton project! Last you saw we were putting in granite pavers and plants in the front, now we’re working on the back side of the house with amazing views! The massive waterfall is dug and the stone slab stairs that run along it are set! The hole for the pool is dug as well and soon the wet bar, patio and outdoor kitchen will be coming together! Keep your eyes out for more photos of our progress coming soon!
Phase one of this project is almost complete! The granite cobbestone drive, porte-cochere and some plantings are in. Phase two will be happening soon, including a pool, patio, sunken bar, more plantings, stream bed and waterfall! And if that doesn't wow you enough, there will be a phase three! Check back later to see how it all comes together!
Here are some photos taken during contruction at one of our job sites. Here you can see parts of our processes such as measuring, digging and transport. Stay on the look out for future photos of this location once the finishing touches are complete. You get a glimpse of the patio we put in around the pool in the last photo, but once grass and plants are in, the whole area will have had a significant transformation.
Outdoor living spaces continue to be one of the most popular features that homeowners are requesting and seem to have the best return on their investment. Getting the most out of our somewhat short summer season here in the Northeast is very important to clients that are looking to add a pool or spa to their outdoor living space. Insulated spas and pools with automatic covers can greatly increase the ‘swimming season’ by making it much more energy efficient to heat during cooler times of the year. When these pools and spas are designed with the proper equipment they can be virtually maintenance free, require no chemical applications, and be controlled by any smart phone or tablet.
