This customer had a 20-year-old landscape that was not well maintained and had failing masonry work. We installed a mortared core wall that will last for hundreds of years, an expansive patio for entertaining friends and family and a 300,000BTU fire pit for roasting marshmallows and taking the chill out of the cool Vermont evenings.
Landshapes employees get a jump on the season. They are preparing Irregular Blue Stone Flagging for spring projects by taking off weak and or the thin edges of the Blue Stone making them more uniform in thickness. They then will champer all edges with a masonry hammer for a more natural look. This eliminates one step in the process at the job site making laying the Blue Stone Steppers much faster.
This customer had a freshly dug swimming pond but it was pretty far from the house. They built this pond house closer to the swimming pond to have a place to congregate. We enhanced it by building this beautiful Bluestone Patio with Granite Veneer Walls, and Natural Stone Slab Stairs down to the Fire Pit.
Landshapes transforms an existing swimming pond. We terraced the steep slope to accommodate a small irregular bluestone patio facing views of the mountains. Our masons out did themselves again building beautiful stone retaining walls holding back a steep slope. The swimming pond was partially drained, dredged, and our crew recut the edges. Two aerators where installed to move and oxogenate the pond for better water quality.
Last year's winter took its toll on this old retaining wall. Our Stone Masons tore it out and replaced it with this beautiful Fieldstone Seat Wall with custom flamed Bluestone Caps. The new wall has adequate drainage and footings so it will last no matter how hard the winter is this year! We are booking projects for the 2015 season, so call today to get an early start.
